Campus to Corporate: Career Skills & AI Careers
About Course
Moving from campus to corporate life is more than getting your first job. It is a fundamental shift in how you think, work, communicate, solve problems and take responsibility.
In college, students are usually given clear questions, defined expectations and structured outcomes. In the workplace, problems are often unclear, work happens through teams, and employees are expected to think independently and take ownership.
Campus to Corporate: Career Skills & AI Careers is designed to help students and fresh graduates understand this transition and prepare for the realities of professional life.
The course covers the skills companies actually expect from early-career professionals, including problem-solving, communication, teamwork, initiative, feedback, professional behavior, time management and adaptability.
You will also explore different career paths across IT, Data & AI, Operations & Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Business Analytics, helping you understand the types of work involved and how to identify a career path that aligns with your skills, interests and opportunities.
The course then moves into practical job-readiness skills, including resume building, LinkedIn presence, personal branding, interview preparation, internships, portfolios and networking.
Finally, you will explore AI and the future of work, emerging AI-related career opportunities, human skills that remain important, continuous learning and how to build a meaningful long-term career.
